Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Clarry ("Clarry", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our payment automation workspace. We keep it short and plain: we collect what we need to run the service, and we don't sell your data.
1.Information we collect
We collect:
- Account information: your name, email, organization, and role, provided when you sign up or are invited.
- Content you submit: documents (such as invoices and statements), payable and counterparty details, bank-account references, notes, and workflow decisions.
- Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser type, and actions taken in the product, collected to operate, secure, and improve the service.
- Cookies: strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies.
2.How we use information
We use information to:
- provide and maintain the service, including document extraction and workflow automation;
- authenticate you and keep accounts and organizations secure;
- communicate with you about your account, support requests, and service changes;
- monitor, troubleshoot, and improve performance and reliability; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3.Automated processing
Clarry uses automation, including machine learning, to read documents and assist with workflow checks. This processing happens to deliver the service to you. Automated outputs are suggestions for your review and do not make final payment decisions on their own.
4.How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- within your organization: content is visible to members of your Clarry workspace according to their roles;
- with service providers: vendors who host infrastructure, process documents, send email, or verify bank details, under contracts that limit their use to providing those services to us;
- for legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Clarry, our users, or the public; and
- in a business transfer: if Clarry is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice consistent with this policy.
5.Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. We may retain certain records longer where required for legal, accounting, or security purposes. You can request deletion of your data as described below.
6.Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and authentication safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to incidents.
7.Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@clarry.ai. Where Clarry processes data on behalf of your organization, we will direct such requests to that organization, which acts as the controller of its workspace data.
8.International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we use appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.
9.Children
Clarry is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the product or by email.
